What's Next after BAMS? / MD/MS PG

I am sharing my views on future prospects and scope of practice for ayurveda BAMS/+ MD/MS UG / PG Community, so that you all can predefine their work area and their vision, goal and future remains clear. Readers may get more insights and updates when they actually start working, practicing, establishing in the vast ocean of knowledge of Ayurveda Medicine.

The only *conditions apply to success, is your indepth knowledge in the overall field of Ayurveda - Science of life and healing. There is no shortcut I can see to the success. Each and every individual have to think, create plan, act and enjoy the work, ultimately you will recieve fruits of your actions.

I hope this will enlighten everyone, including academicians, practitioners, professionals and associates into the field like pharmacy, manufacturing instruments and goods for ayurveda.


Kindly explore the video and search your own area of interest, whilst the purpose of life remains same i.e. to become happy. The added advantage of remaining happy forever is gained only when one explores all 4 purusharthas of life i.e. Dharma, artha, kama, moksha. Without attaining them, its impossible to remain happy.

I am authoring this artical after 11 years of private professional practice in the field of ayurveda and spcialty of eye - Ophthalmology i.e. BAMS, MS. I am able to conduct Ayurveda OPD, Eye specialty in Ayurveda and Allopathy, continuing Topical Phaco surgery, Pterygium Surgery, Emergency Ocualr trauma management and have indepth knowledge in the field of Ophthalmology. My mother is Ayurveda vaidya, practicing since more than 35 years and has excellent hold on the subject. My father is an eye surgeon, who taught me Modern allopathic Eye surgeries, allopathic clinical practice of Ophthalmology and he is very good experience in alternative healing practices. I have worked with allopathy doctors in ophthalmology like Dr Gadre - Rajkot, Dr Birla - Nasik, Dr Swati Zawar - Tulsi Eye Hospital, Nasik, Dr Hitesh Chheda - Asian Eye Institute & laser centre Mumbai, coroporate hospitals, I have done observerships at ayurvedic eye hospitals of Kerala, like Sreedhareeyam - Dr. N.P.P Namboothiri and Dr Narayan, Dr Sreekanth, Dr Sreekala at Koothattukulam, Ernakulam, Dr Gokulan's - Sudarshan Netra Chikitsalaya at Thiruvalla, Dr Prasad - Sunetri chikitsalaya, Dr Shanthakumari - Matha Eye Hospital, Trivandrum, Dr Praveen Joshi and Vd Nana Joshi - Dhule Maharashtra, Dr Pramod Garge sir at Mumbai, Dr Hemant Baviskar sir (My classmate in PG MS cum Guru) - Netrayu Hospital, Jalgaon.

I am thankful and feeling gratitude towards Lord Dhanvantari, gods and goddeses, rishis and Maharishis and entire human race for giving us pure knowledge and be a part of healing instrument of gods creation.
